We are very excited for Record Store Day 2011. We have Milkcrate stocked & loaded with several hundred new handpicked titles. Unfortunately we don't have any exclusive things, but we did make 25 silkscreened canvas record bags for the first 25 customers who spend $25. If we give those out before you get there to spend your $25 on wax....we'll buy you a coffee! Big ups to Mike Spano our newest member of team Milkcrate who keeps churning out these dope vids for us.
So they just arrived and they are very very very cool. We only got 3 left @ $30 each.....Let us know! They only made 2,500.
First off.... sorry for slacking on the posts. We have been crazy busy at the shop, brewing mad coffee, making hella egg sandwiches and lastly buying & selling a shizz load of records. One record in-particular I copped in a trade has been stuck in my head all week, and making me laugh my ass off. You all remember that scene in Boogie Nights where Dirk Diggler is in the studio singing "You Got The Touch". How many of you knew that this was actually the feature song on the original animated Transformers movie? (...how I never saw this original Transformers very unsettling, but that's another rant for another post).
Ladies & gentlemen...... Stan Bush "The Touch".
The funniest fact however is there are people are paying $75 and up on Ebay for the original Transformers soundtrack.
